Gold Coast property agent Lucy Cole has again outclassed Queensland's best real estate professionals to be named the Real Estate Institute of Queensland's salesperson of the year.

It is the second time in three years that Ms. Cole has won the important industry accolade. Her first was for the 1996-97 year.

REIQ president Jean Hamer said the organisation's awards for excellence were 'the highest accolades available to any practitioner in the Queensland property industry'

"The awards encourage members to achieve levels of excellence that represent the pinnacle of industry professionalism," she said.
